So, we always hear the 5-14 day old rule -the best time for newborn photos. Well, yes that is an ideal time to capture your newborn photos and the reason for that is babies sleep a lot during those first two weeks, are easy to swaddle, and their skin/hair usually looks great. BUT, if you are having an in-home lifestyle session waiting until your baby is older is fine too! In this session, baby L was about a month old. The difference is he is awake for most of our session and he did not want to be swaddled, but he DID let me capture his beautiful blue eyes!
